With my Dutch wife, Tineke, I’ve been involved with Gateway since 2016, when we moved to York. That’s when I retired after a life of teaching English as a Foreign Language, including about 20 years in different parts of Africa. I’m a member of the Global Mission group and the Creation Care group at Gateway, and, more generally, I collect bibles and Christian books for Book Aid, which sends them out to developing countries where books are hard to get hold of.
