Lifegroup Leader

Hello! My name is Simon. I’m married to Kate and we have three lovely children. I’m originally from Edinburgh but have a heart for York with a lot of family from Yorkshire and coming here a lot on holidays. Gateway’s been our church family since 2021.

I run a Lifegroup with Kate and you can often find me in the tech booth on a Sunday doing sound. I also help out with the wonderful Sunday kids groups and exciting Friday night “Lightz” youth group.

I’m passionate about Jesus, people, being out in nature, DIY, walking, photography, games, gardening, cooking and spending time with family. In my day job I’m a software engineer.
